BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Grinnell Elementary participates in the Box Top for Education Program. We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week –- or more. Now turn those shopping trips into easy cash for your school, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios^®, Hamburger Helper^® and Kleenex^®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school. We have a collection box right outside the office. Click here for a list of products.
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed for the following special activities:
- Bus Driver Appreciation
- Teacher Appreciation
- Spooky Fun Fest
- Holiday Parade Float
- Holiday Shoppe
- Spaghetti Supper
- Enrichment Program
- Ice Cream Social
- Field Day
- Box Tops for Education
Weekly Volunteers are needed for:
- Photocopying
- School Store
- Popcorn
- Room Parent
- Assisting in Specials Classes

Mrs. McNaulty the art teacher is looking for baby jars also soda caps and tops from food jars and beverages for some up coming projects in class sizes under 2" diameter plastic or metal( not sharp). If you have these items and would like to donate them please drop them off at the school office or send them in with your child!!

Join Our PTA

Memberships are NOT a commitment to volunteer, but are an important show of support for our school. A membership/person is just $4/year. Please consider supporting us as you would the Heart Association, The Audubon Society or any other club or non-profit. We receive grants, support, awards and more based on our membership numbers.

Simply print out this form and send it in with payment. It can be sent in with a student to the office or mailed to:

PTA MEETINGS

Our meetings are held on the 2nd school Tuesday of the month in the School Library. Parents may bring their children and snacks are usually available at each meeting.

The meetings have a regular agenda and discussion is held on a variety of topics and planning for activities and events.

Volunteer Requirements

Regular volunteers must have a fingerprint on file with the superintendent's office!

Please sign in at the office in the PTA binder AS WELL AS the school's sign in sheet each time you enter and list the reason for being there. This will be tracked and recorded for our records so that we may be eligible for grants.

Please respect Grinnell's SUPPORTIVE administration and our PTA's protocol by being at the school when you have committed to a job or position.

Everybody, doing a little, makes our PTA work very well.
